Schnell gefunden: Wiebke & Sanja werden bequatscht und kommen mit.

The Mission is: Roadtripping Ireland.

Zuerst mit zwei, mit Surfgerödel vollgepackten, Bullis nach Cherbourg in Frankreich. Von dort aus 17-stündige Überquerung der Keltischen See nach Rosslare.

Ab dann ist der Plan keinen Plan zu haben. Wind und Wellen treiben uns an die Westküste, alles Weitere ist offen.

Hamburg and Kiel rocking Ireland

How it all started:

Fiete and Niels want to take a vacation - as they are very much into kiting, surfing & windsurfing a destination with decent swell & wind is needed.

Ireland!

But a pure boys-gone-surfing holiday?!

Naw! The girls to come are quickly found: Wiebke & Sanja, both kiting and loving waves and adventures are convinced to join.

The mission of the four of us is: Roadtripping Ireland, find great kite and surfspots, meet new people, drink some Guinness and simply enjoy.

Unfortunately Ireland is not exactly around the corner, especially not if you want to bring 25 boards, 8 kites plus windsurf sails. We have to take the car first: 15 hours of driving to Cherbourg, France with stuffed vans. After, another 17 hours ferry ride, crossing of the celtic ocean to Rosslare, Ireland.

From that point onwards the plan is not to have a plan anymore. Because of wind and waves we’ll head west – apart from that no further plans are being made.
